About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, safe, and customer-oriented Taxi Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting passengers safely and efficiently to their destinations while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport passengers to their requested destinations in a timely manner
• Provide a professional, courteous, and welcoming experience for all passengers
• Plan efficient routes using GPS/navigation systems and local road knowledge
• Assist passengers with luggage or special needs where required
• Collect fares accurately (cash/card/app-based payments)
• Maintain the taxi in a clean, tidy, and roadworthy condition at all times
• Conduct routine vehicle checks (fuel, oil, tyres, lights, cleanliness)
• Comply with all road traffic laws, taxi regulations, and licensing requirements
• Respond promptly to dispatch calls or app-based ride requests
• Handle passenger complaints or issues professionally
• Maintain accurate trip logs/records as required
• Ensure passenger safety at all times, including proper use of seatbelts

Requirements

• Valid driving license (Category B) and any required taxi/PSV license or permit
• Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations
• Good knowledge of local roads, routes, and landmarks
• Previous experience as a taxi/private hire driver preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy
• Comfortable using GPS apps and ride-hailing platforms
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Physically fit and able to assist with passenger luggage when needed

Desirable

• Existing taxi/private hire operator's license
• Multilingual skills (English plus other languages)
• Familiarity with ride-hailing apps (Uber, Bolt, etc.)
• First aid certification
